Ginger and green tea
To mitigate my cold I fall back to my old strategy with ginger.
I already have a daily cup of green matcha tea.
One of the unique polyphenols of green matcha tea (and green tea in general) is specifically
EGCG.
As for Ginger, among the studied compounds of interest is gingerol.
Both EGCG and gingerol have as well as green tea and ginger are interesting as well as their complete food macromolecular complex in green tea and ginger respectively with regard to their effect on health.
I will look into these potential health effects over time and see if I learn anything.
