On the possibilities of exceptional giftedness and it's development

 Most educational systems in todays world is not formed to accommodate highly gifted individuals.

Therefor there is much to be learned about experimental ways of encouraging, supporting these individuals in ways to give them and the world the gift of their gifts.


My own observations is that guidance, education, mentorship, from a mindful from a senior mentor or parent is valuable. It is important to not put the wrong type of incentive upon the student, but rather to create the right environment for thinking, exploration, problem solving, inquire, discovery and development of skills and abilities as well has some insight into self and mental processess of self and others in the context of the world are all of importance.

There has to be an element of playfulness and encouragement of play rather than authoritative enforcement of curriculum. The acknowledgement of individual inclination and individual strength and weakness is considered. Play is a way of learning very efficiently and should be studied in details by its mechanism and implicit methods in the context of cognition and learning from a holistic and detailed mechanistic perspective, taken both in a social and neurological perspective.


Feelings matter. 

I used to want to practise my guitar in the correct lighting. This lighting was better in a specific room in my house where there was a roof windows that dampened the light and gave it a more amber soft tone.

I think it enhanced the feedback I got when practising. Enhancing the dopamine respons in the right way to in turn improve my progress.

However this was not a constant thing.

Emotional states change over time as the day progressed.

There were different types of environmental situations that I gravitated to and searched for that felt congruent to what learning activity I wanted to have the right set and setting for.

These followed some pattern in sync with the circadian clock and time of day.

Likely these things are important to consider in any context where we want to achieve improvement of skills and abilities or performance of any kind.

These are likely missed and not considered with any depth or detail, and should be considered a missed opportunity in the quest for excellence and innovation.
